Linda Lendvai studied in London at the renowned Sotheby’s Institute of Art and lived and worked several years in the British capital. Supermarket Gallery was established in 2014 in Budapest. Since 2015 the gallery’s program is entirely devoted to photography. Originally focuses on young emerging photographers but the scope has broadened to include 20th century photography as well. Since the beginning it has a special emphasis on publishing its own photo books and fanzines.
