Photographed through a specially cut glass lens attached to the camera, the moving train is optically fragmented into overlapping forms. The fragmentation was created at the moment of exposure, without digital compositing. Against the fixed architecture of the station, the train becomes a sequence of arrivals compressed into a single moment, evoking the repetition, speed, and accumulated memory of urban travel.
I am a student photographer based in Saitama, Japan. My work explores ordinary urban scenes, movement, distance, and moments that feel slightly removed from everyday reality. I often experiment with optical effects, reflections, blur, and unconventional lenses to transform familiar places into images shaped by memory and perception. Through photography, I aim to reveal the strange and poetic qualities hidden within daily life.
