After conflict with her body, she chose to stand before the lens as a nude model—not to be consumed, but to make images through her own presence. These photographs do not attempt to define what the nude should be. They remain with a quieter question: can the image of a body return to the person who chose to stand there? In the camera and the mirror, vulnerability remains, but the body comes back as her own.
