159 people live on a small island called Nakanoshima, one of the Tokara Islands in Japan It is one of the country’s most remote islands. People live humble lives in Tokara islands helping out each other. Some born there and never left. Some move there from big city, looking for better life for kids. And some are moving out there to go high school. All the unique lives I meet there has rich stories behind and reasons to be there in remote place.
