The Horizon Within explores the invisible space of memory, identity and emotion. Through conceptual black-and-white photography, symbolism and double exposure, I seek to give visual form to what cannot easily be expressed — the fragile states between presence and absence, concealment and revelation, remembering and forgetting. Each image becomes a fragment of an inner landscape, where silence becomes language and shadows become maps. The inner horizon shifts with memory, redrawing the boundary between who we were and who we are becoming.
My name is Silvia Dinca, I am working as Finance Manager in an multinational company in Bucharest and my passion for photography began in 2015, when I graduated from RGB Photography School. Over the past two years, I have discovered the world of conceptual photography, a direction that has allowed me to explore more deeply the relationship between emotion, symbolism and image. I seek to transform the invisible into image. My work is also featured in a portfolio on the international photography platform 1x.com.
