In the blinding sandstorm, I worked hard to stabilize my lens and capture a group of King penguins. The waddle, as they are known, was walking along the shore in search of a safe entry point to the ocean. The penguins often walk up and down the beach, hesitant to enter because of predators such as orcas and leopard seals.
