Seasons of the Soul is an exploration of emotional transitions. Seasons become metaphors for inner change. The skin becomes the thin boundary between the outer and the inner world. A landscape unfolds across the body, moving from the frost of introspection and stillness to the blossoming of a new vitality and the will to dream. The body becomes shell, threshold and landscape, traversed by words, light and desire.
Monia Vitacolonna is an Italian photographer whose work is shaped by a distinctive cinematic vision, with each image conceived as a frame from an unmade film. Her photographs inhabit a space between reality and dream, where the boundaries between the tangible and the invisible dissolve. Through light, gesture, and atmosphere, they weave intimate, contemplative narratives that reveal the landscapes of the inner world.
