Aftermath – the state after a struggle. In nature, this often happens 'without much ado'. This photograph portraits the melancholic remains of such a moment: the plumage of a blue tit. In the deliberate act of preserving these delicate feathers lies a quiet, poetic resistance to the indifference of life simply moving on.
After training in photography and an internship at Bayerischer Rundfunk, I worked for several years as a camera assistant. Over time, my visual language shifted toward abstraction. My work begins with reality and explores what can emerge when subject, perception, and camera interact. I work with Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) and developed my own technique, Remodel by Camera Movement (RCM), the basis of my Photographic Lyrical Abstraction. In my Emergographies, everyday things can develop an identity of their own. Together, they form my Photographic Wonder Room.
