The "Eight Generals" are the divine guardians of Taiwan’s temple processions. This series documents the Zhenxuantang troupe, capturing the spiritual intensity of their ritual service through a cinematic lens. These images explore the paradox of the "guardians"—sacred figures who bear the weight of heritage and human devotion, immortalizing the spirit of a timeless tradition.
