It was a misty foggy morning. The dazzle appeared at the waterhole. This fellow was practically prancing. The plains zebra is currently classified as near threatened by the IUCN, with its population stable but declining in some areas due to threats like hunting and habitat loss. While not endangered, it faces significant risks from hunting for their meat and hides, and competition with cattle. My goal is to stop the viewer, raise awareness, and inspire conservation.
