Studies in Presence explores quiet states of perception through figurative portraits. Removed from specific narrative or temporal context, the images focus on posture, gaze, gesture, and the relationship between subject and surrounding space. A single figure appears throughout the series, gradually shifting between stillness and withdrawal. Minimal interiors, soft light, and restrained compositions shape a deliberately quiet photographic language, in which presence becomes perceptible. Rather than describing events, the photographs invite sustained attention and contemplative viewing.
Fine art photographer exploring themes of childhood, memory, stillness, and transition. My work is centered on atmosphere, emotional subtlety, and the quiet tension within carefully composed spaces.
