This self-portrait is part of Our Virtual Future, a project exploring identity in the age of AI and virtual spaces. By obscuring the gaze, the work reflects the growing distance between the physical self and its digital presence — fragmented, edited, and emotionally protected. The red textures evoke digital noise, emotional tension, and the instability of contemporary identity existing between physical and virtual realities.
