Before the year 2022, on the third Sunday of May, the central streets of Kharkiv, Ukraine would be free from cars and public transportation and filled with people of all ages riding their bicycles. Some were wearing masquerade costumes or other creative outfits and everyone was definitely having fun. This wonderful local tradition celebrating an active way of life and bringing people together used to be highly anticipated by thousands of Kharkiv residents every year.
