Several little birds rest quietly along the back of a giraffe in the wild plains of Tanzania. Perched high above the savanna, the small birds find both refuge and nourishment on the towering animal. This moment captures a natural partnership in the ecosystem, where the birds feed on parasites hidden within the giraffe’s coat while the giraffe benefits from their presence. The contrast between the tiny birds and the immense scale of the giraffe highlights the delicate balance of coexistence in the wild.
I’m Eric Ang, born in the United States and of Chinese heritage. I graduated from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, with a background in Fine Art. Photography began as a personal pursuit during my travels, becoming a way for me to observe and connect with people, places, and quiet moments that often go unnoticed.
