A skeletal tree rises from a field of vibrant crops—a stark meditation on death's presence amid cycles of cultivation and renewal. The crops represent human dominion over land, the annual cycles we impose. Yet the dead tree persists, an uninvited monument to processes beyond our control. The utility pole in the distance echoes the tree's vertical thrust, creating an ironic dialogue between technological and biological infrastructure. This work asks us to consider what we preserve and what we discard, how death punctuates even our most productive spaces.

For as long as I can remember, nature has been my companion. I grew up exploring the waterways of the Midwest and the mountain ranges of the American West. These places shaped me — not just as memories of childhood, but as sacred spaces that planted a lifelong curiosity about the world beyond the horizon. For me, art is a spiritual practice — a bridge between memory and imagination, between grief and gratitude. Each photograph is an invitation to slow down and connect with the soul of a place.
