I am drawn to the quiet shift between seasons, and this work captures a rare moment when autumn and winter briefly coexist. Photographed on the Tōnōmine Plateau in Japan, the scene reveals frost‑covered pampas grass flowing through the valleys while traces of autumn color linger on the slopes. Subtle, softened light allowed the frost to shine without overpowering the remaining foliage, creating a delicate balance. Through this image, I aim to express the nuanced rhythms of nature’s transitions.
