Ephemeral artist Jelly Helm has visited the shores of both coasts using beaches as the canvas for his prayer labyrinths, precisely etched in the sand. Hours of concentrated effort begin as the tide recedes. The completed piece will only exist for a few hours before the advancing tide erases the work. Although the physical work is short lived the impressions of Helm’s art lasts much longer.
