Also known as the Turul Dynasty, the House of Árpád was the ruling dynasty founded by Árpád, leader of the Hungarian tribal confederation during the Hungarian Conquest of the Carpathian Basin. From his lineage emerged the first Hungarian kings, under whose reign the Kingdom of Hungary was established. This portrait presents a male figure dressed in Árpád-era attire, evoking the spirit of early medieval Hungary. The image reflects strength, leadership, and ancestral continuity, paying tribute to a dynasty that shaped the cultural and political foundations of the Hungarian state.
My work is deeply rooted in Hungarian culture and folk art. After more than twenty years in international brand building, I turned toward fine art photography in 2025 as a form of visual storytelling and legacy creation. Becoming a mother profoundly reshaped both my life and my artistic vision, bringing depth, intention, and intimacy into my work. Through my portraits, I explore femininity, ancestry, and inner strength-blending painterly light, timeless aesthetics, and cultural memory to create images that honor both heritage and personal truth.
