A Pane Between Us is a B&W photography series capturing candid moments of individuals seen through windows in everyday urban settings.Exploring the interplay between observation, emotion, and distance, the project uses the glass pane as both a physical and metaphorical barrier—simultaneously connecting and separating viewer and subject.Through subtle gestures, fleeting expressions, and unconscious performances of daily life, the series reflects on the nature of human connection in public spaces, inviting viewers to consider the emotional and ethical complexities of watching and being watched.
I am an Iranian freelance photographer based in London, UK. My work focuses on documentary and portrait photography, exploring identity, emotion, and human connection themes. Through my lens, I seek to capture the depth of human experience, emphasizing the significance of storytelling in visual culture. People have always been my favourite subject, and my work aims to tell their stories with authenticity and depth.
