this series of photographs arose from an art school assignment. we had to do a studio portrait, I didn't want to do just any portrait and quickly came to our personal family situation. My niece with whom I am doing very well was told last year that she has breast cancer. She had just finished her last chemo. We sat around the table together and thought about what we could do. We ended up portraying old masters.
A word about myself. I am studying digital photography and photographic techniques at the art academy in Ypres. I work in the local hospital of Ypres. my photographic work usually deals with social themes or nature themes. in addition, I also graduated as a monumental artist and I like to work with waste materials in my spatial work.
