This is an image taken at a flea market very close to Barcelona. As always, I'm accompanied by my LIGHT COLLECTION DEVICE, so it was impossible for it not to go off practically at will. We don't know if our subject found what he was looking for, but he certainly kept trying through the flea market's winding alleys. I hope I've captured our subject's candor on the one hand, and on the other, the almost hypnotic sensation of walking among used furniture, each of which could surely tell us its own story.
I'm currently studying a 3 year degree in photography and visual arts at IEFC (Institut d'Estudis Fotografics de Catalunya). My work experience has nothing to do with photography (I used to work in the events, congresses, and conventions industry) I'm currently retired due to a serious accident. I'm 54 years old and my aspiration is to grow within the world of visual arts, finding my own vision and forms of expression. I firmly believe in the narrative power of images, and that's how I explore each shot. Telling reality from a personal and unique perspective has become my obsession.
