The clock at the Musee D'Orsay is a popular spot for photographs. I wonder...Did the subject of the other photographer take in the view of the Paris skyline, or was she too worried about hitting her mark to be framed perfectly? What about the person using the phone camera, was she with the woman in the frame or just some bystander pressed into service? Regardless, at this moment, for all three of us time stood still.
Heather C. Markham-Creasman’s interest in photography began in childhood and was honed at Texas A&M University. She used a b/w darkroom setup for more than twenty years, clinging to it like it was a life preserver. She began using a power wheelchair in 2008 as a progressive neuromuscular disorder began taking away her strength, which necessitated that she transition to using a digital camera full time. She found that the wheelchair doubled as an amazingly steady surface to photograph from. Still an avid traveler and photographer, she believes in making waves for good wherever she goes.
