In the Takivatan Bunun community, millet is a sacred link to the land and cultural memories, slowly fading along with the traditional Stone Slab House. Building a house once began with a dream, where an elder would seek permission through visions. Photographer Sheng Da Tsai participated in restoring the ancestral house, a revival of culture, not just a reconstruction. As millet returns, the house and traditions awaken, quietly bringing culture back to life, reviving ancestral practices and memories once lost.
