Captured in the frame are the ruins of a torpedo testing station in Babie Doly, Poland — a relic of World War II and a silent witness to the turbulent history of the 20th century. The neglected road leading to these concrete remnants symbolizes both decay and forgotten memories. Nature slowly reclaims the space, and the silence speaks louder than words. This photograph seeks to capture the dialogue between past and present.
I work as an electrician in a shipyard, but photography is my true passion. I come from Gda?sk and have been interested in photography for about 15 years — it all started with buying my first DSLR before a mountain trip. Nature is my greatest source of inspiration, but I also enjoy capturing the city — especially in square format and black and white. My photos have been published and awarded in Poland and abroad. Photography is my way of seeing and feeling the world.
