The "Comparsas" parade in Oaxaca during the Day of the Dead celebration is a poignant moment where emotions and perceptions converge in an ancestral quest to bridge the fragile divide between life and death, joy and sorrow. Each step, choreography, costume, or banner weaves a narrative and pays homage to those who draw nearer to the earthly realm on this day.
