"Vanishing Metropolis" captures the silent demise of a once-thriving city. Beneath a vast and ominous sky, scattered beams of light struggle to break through the heavy clouds, illuminating a metropolis fading into obscurity. The contrast between the rigid architecture and the shifting atmosphere symbolizes the fragility of human civilization. Time erases even the most imposing structures, leaving behind only echoes of what once was. This image stands as a visual requiem for a disappearing world.
I'm an amateur photographer based in Tokyo. I started photography as an activity for kill-time. When I noticed, I was totally into it. Usually, I take street snaps to capture great moments in Tokyo, especially Shibuya. My work coveys the feeling of joy visiting unfamiliar places. Since I was grown up in a local town, Tokyo enchanted me. It overwhelmed me, and changed the way I live. Basically, black and white is my go-for. As a photographer, however, I also love the beauty of colors and shapes. I capture my favorite colors in cities. Pink and purple are my favorite.
