Silent Crossing captures the fleeting presence of individuals in an indifferent cityscape. Crosswalks are transient spaces—brief intersections of human paths before they vanish into silence. The rigid geometry of the city appears more permanent than the people moving through it. Light and shadow define both the urban structure and the impermanence of those who pass.Do our footsteps linger, or does the city forget us the moment we leave?
I'm an amateur photographer based in Tokyo. I started photography as an activity for kill-time. When I noticed, I was totally into it. Usually, I take street snaps to capture great moments in Tokyo, especially Shibuya. My work coveys the feeling of joy visiting unfamiliar places. Since I was grown up in a local town, Tokyo enchanted me. It overwhelmed me, and changed the way I live. Basically, black and white is my go-for. As a photographer, however, I also love the beauty of colors and shapes. I capture my favorite colors in cities. Pink and purple are my favorite.
