"Swaddling the Soul" is the name I’ve given to the deeply personal process of healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—that I express through my photography. I chose to no longer escape or numb myself but instead to confront my pain head-on, using photography as a way to process the raw emotions and experiences that had shaped me as a woman. My images reflect moments of intense self-reflection—like entries in an artist’s diary, revisiting memories I once tried to forget or never truly accepted. Through these images, I allowed myself to feel again, reconnecting with myself.
Kate sees herself as a new generation hypersensitive artist, using photography as a means of self-expression, capturing the essence of her subjects with a click of the shutter. Each image reflects a deep psychological portrait, revealing their inner world and emotional depth. Her style is provocative, intimate, dystopian, futuristic, and sincere.
