It is not a collage, not Photoshop, this is still life in its purest form. What do you see in the picture? This is a vase, colored capsules at its base and manipulation of light. Light plays with our imagination, painting in it something completely different from what is actually there. (As sometimes happens with people). At the same time, it is truthful, it is light. It is we, who fantasize. Therefore, it is both: a Lie of our imagination and the Truth of light. Unfortunately, I can’t control people and make them not lie, I can only control the light and a little bit of your imagination.
Oksana Omelchuk is a visual artist, architecture and fine art photographer, based in Kyiv, Ukraine. Art educational: Kyiv School of Photography, Ukraine, Form Photo Academy, Paris, France.
