Bombing Dragon

This is a folk tradition held annually during the Lantern Festival by the Hakka people in Miaoli County, Taiwan. There’s a saying that the more worn out the dragon becomes from firecrackers, the more prosperous the businesses, households, and dragon dance members who pay to explode the dragon will become in the future.
