On a solo roadtrip through Vermont, I set out to capture the unmistakable beauty of the autumn season. In preparation for a sunrise shoot of an unfamiliar location, I scouted the site the evening before. The morning arrived, and I found myself alone in the darkness, still unsure of what the day would bring. My goal was to embrace the moment and showcase nature at its best—with vivid fall colors, morning mist, and a sense of unwavering tranquility. As the first light broke, it revealed everything I had hoped for. This is "One Autumn Morn."
Dan is a photographer based in Chicago, IL. He was born and raised in Glens Falls, NY and graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelors in Business Administration, with majors in Management Science and Marketing. After 33 years, Dan retired from Xerox Corporation, where he held positions in sales, marketing, and leadership, including VP of Sales and Marketing. Dan is an Instructor at Chicago Photography Classes and volunteers with FreshLens Chicago, an organization that provides tuition free photography and life skills programs for under-resourced Chicago youth.
