On the Crystal Ruins: Meditations on the Lost Sacred" In these images, we see a world that dissolves, shattered by the blind hand of man who, blinded by his own arrogance, has lost the sense of the sacred. The torn pages of sacred songs are fragments of a betrayed oath, the testament of our complicity in the ruin of what we were supposed to guard. Each piece of melting ice is a silent cry, a prayer that resonates in our conscience, reminding us that we have abandoned our duty, our sacred role as guardians of life.
Archaeologist by training, I chose photography as my personal one “Medium” to lead you directly into my universe made of deep and intimate interconnections with the world around me. My research is aimed at capturing those textures that resist the machination of the modern and which lead us towards a contact with a "Self Other" through the elaboration and production of images, sometimes abstract, with the aim of restoring a dreamlike and sensorial vision of reality in the observer.
