The Kora

Whist documenting local people and their cultures in Tibet, I photographed many people performing the kora. The kora is an act of devotion carried out day and night. People perform circular pilgrimages around sacred sites, spinning prayer wheels and performing prostrations along a dedicated route. This is part of their daily routine and continual preyer throughout life.
