In front of the Jokhang Temple in Lhasa, Tibet, a Tibetan mother and her young son are seen prostrating themselves in devotion. The mother, holding her child who is under 5 years old, performs the pilgrimage ritual by prostrating in sets of three steps, demonstrating her utmost piety and commitment as they traverse the sacred path together.
