Dancing Vulnerability At Flamenco Tempo

This series is part of a larger project of limited edition fine art photos taken during live flamenco performances, began in 2020 and still ongoing. Flamenco was born in a folk environment and expresses itself through improvisation, the spontaneous expression of emotions, without fear of showing vulnerability. An artistic approach that, through dance and photography, invites the observer to face vulnerability. In a world that encourages us to wear masks to conform, the goal is to reconnect with oneself, face our emotions, embrace our vulnerability and experience it without barriers.

I started photography with silver cameras at 5yo, turned it as a profession just in 2020, in the midst of the pandemic. As fine art photographer, I exhibit my limited-edition fine art photos, especially about flamenco. In 2022 I self-published a fine art book with a selection of them. Dance photography has deep roots in me: practiced for almost 20 years, today I dance through my eyes, capturing the emotions danced on live shows. I only take live pictures, without any pose, because every moment deserves to be unique and remembered as a spontaneous and experienced emotion.
