Red Shoe

I took this photo at the intersection of W. Georgia and Granville in Vancouver, Canada. This is probably the busiest place in Vancouver, with lots of foot traffic. And sometimes foot traffic appears to be three-legged. I like the contrast between the black leggings and oversized footwear of the person on the left (Mother) with the exposed bare leg in a red shoe accented by a white sock (Daughter). The contrast between Mother and Daughter is stark, and the single leg adds intrigue.
