This series captures a child using Rembrandt-style lighting and post-production techniques, creating a timeless and evocative atmosphere. Each image showcases the simplicity and purity of childhood, highlighting delicate details and soft contrasts. The approach is inspired by classical portraiture, emphasizing the interplay of light and shadow to convey emotion and depth. The overall aesthetic is elegant yet straightforward, focusing on the innocence and beauty of the young subject.
My work focuses on documenting social and political change, communities, and everyday life in contemporary Hungary. At the same time, I maintain a broad photographic practice and remain deeply interested in portraiture, still life, and applied photography. Moving between these fields allows me to constantly refresh my perspective and approach. Alongside editorial assignments, I pursue long-term documentary projects exploring family, identity, and belonging. In 2026, I received Third Prize in the Everyday Life (Series) category at the Hungarian Press Photo Contest.
