    Eleonora Barbarossa

"Frequencies" series portrays abstract landscapes as reflections of the intangible reality of human cognition, balanced between internal dialogue and social interaction, constantly shifting and uncertain. The photographs are created through camera movement during long exposures in sunset light.

Longing to represent complexity, Eleonora Barbarossa’s practice inquires into the perception of reality, both external and internal, from individual and collective perspectives. Her photographic work consist of abstract scenes obtained through camera movement. Images challenge traditional perceptions, inviting the observer to fill the space left open with a personal interpretation. Born in 1991 in Trieste, Italy, her work connects deeply with the legacy of her hometown in the fields of mental health and human cognition.
