In the interior of Mozambique, as in many other places in Africa, charcoal is the main source of energy for cooking. In these places, there is an entire subsistence economy around the production, distribution and commercialization of charcoal. In the summer, already in the early hours of the morning, the heat and brightness of the sun already shows its strength, making even the colors disappear.

Engineer, Brazilian, but current living in Mozambique. Enthusiastic amateur photographer. Always trying to tell stories through street, travel, people and documentary photography. I usually prefer black & white, but I give space to color when it makes sense to me
