While wandering the streets of Dublin, I came across two young boys standing together while their mothers talked for an extended period of time. There was nothing particularly noteworthy about this scenario until I observed the cherubic expression on one boy’s face, as his eyes widened suddenly in response to something one of the women said.
Kylo-Patrick Hart is chair of the Department of Film, Television and Digital Media at Texas Christian University (Fort Worth, Texas, USA). As an artist and photographer, his motivation is to discover and capture the beauty, even when it is not always readily self-evident, that surrounds us continuously in all areas of our everyday lives. His photographs have been exhibited in numerous cities throughout the United States and in several countries abroad.
