This was made on a trip to a GIANT sand dune in eastern California. I like working in the dunes / desert because it's a built-in metaphor, our times in the desert. Much of our lives are that way, but when we are searching and directionless and not surrounded by distraction we can find that direction and the spiritual awakening that comes with a clear mind.

I've worked with photography for over twenty years, seriously since 2015. My long-term project is real-life family moments where I photograph families 1-2 times per year in their homes or a regular setting. On the more artistic side I'm building a body of work that explores the nature and metaphor of the dream world.
