Along the northeastern coast of Mindanao Island of the Philippines, amidst the deserted villages in the region, there is a small population of native Filipinos. The natives, still live a primitive lifestyle within their villages and have darker skin color, traditional dialect, and culture, that is very different from that of the local Filipinos. In the photos, the fence of that facility symbolizes a cultural wall. The natives and I are both strangers to each other. At their local community, I was a foreigner to them. While in the modern world, they would become foreigners.
