My project narrates the inner journey of a spiritual community led by the high priestess of the ancient mysteries tradition, Alessandra di Gesù, and the music shaman, Federico Luglio. Through immersive retreats, sacred ceremonies and an initiatory mystery school, they are dedicated to reconnecting followers with Mother Earth and with a remote dimension of consciousness to enter the new paradise. This chapter documents rituals near Lake Bolsena, in Italy: an untold story of the human quest to connect with the divine in this life.
Ginevra Bonina is a documentary photographer born in Catania (Italy) in 1993. In 2023, she attended the masterclass in photo and video journalism organized by the independent Italian magazine InsideOver, led by Antonio Faccilongo, winner of the 2021 World Press Photo. She has been living and working in Geneva since 2019, and her work focuses on long-term projects centered around spirituality, mental health, and women's rights.
