While hiking in the Himalayan Mountains I came across a family of Bakarwal nomads who were packing up to move south for the winter. They were curious about westerns so they invited us in for a cup of Chai. The tea was prepared over an open fire by this gentlemen's daughter in law. Just as we were about to leave I captured this image with the light coming in through the window and naturally lighting his face and just enough contract for the steam coming off the chai.
