Hope They'Re Alive In The Debris
On 6 February , a magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck Turkey and Syria, causing tens of thousands of deaths and injuries and destroying properties.
Despite the gravity of the earthquake, the Turkish people did not lose hope for their loved ones buried under the debris of collapsed buildings, as international rescue teams flooded into Turkey, in hope that more lives can be saved and families be united.
The 23-years-old photojournalist documented the scenes of aftermath and rescue in different affected areas, including the most seriously destroyed city Hatay, where hopes prevailed.
25-year-old Daniel Ceng is an award-winning Asian photojournalist covering politics, social issues, war and more across the world, including Europe, Middle-East, Asia, and Southeast Asia.
Daniel, when he was 22, was one of the youngest photojournalists who entered Ukraine, where he documented the aftermath of the Russian invasion and its impacts on the Ukrainian livelihood.
He has been working with several international news agencies, including Anadolu Agency, EPA Image
, AFP, AP, ZUMA Press, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, and The Initium.
