Old Industrial Town Left to Oblivion

Hearing about his place many times when I was young, eventually I decided to visit the old industry town built for polyvinylalcohol dimethylformal (PVDF) production back to 1971. However, once China's Open Door Policy was initiated, the import and export from and to the foreign countries had sharply eliminated the competitiveness of the factory, leading to the massive layoffs. Today, the town was barely in production and residents are mostly elders. At night, I encountered this no-staff store which sells adult reproductive products through vending machines. It's slightly funny & ironic to me.
