My photo is part of an ongoing project titled "The Necessity of the Street" and shows my love of light, color and life. My approach when I photograph people in their environment comes from the heart. There's a strong bond between me, the photographer, and my subject. It might sound strange but the human figure I encounter on the street becomes somewhat a familiar figure. In fact, although my work is candid I feel a strong connection with the people I photograph. I feel like they are my "people" and I love them, in some way. Athens, Greece
