Walking across the antique market, I saw and bought this old chair, which reminded me about my grandparents. The small house they were living in, the books they were reading, the fruit garden full of pears and raspberries, sound of the sea at night, and very warm embraces of my Grannies. This series is dedicated to my sweet childish memories.
Irina Cheremisina is a visual artist based in Valencia, Spain. Born in Ukraine, she was obliged to leave her native country when the war began in 2022. An economist by profession, Irina was always passionate about art, photography and handmade, but she found her professional calling in visual art only after moving to Spain. Irina works across photography and collage. She is an active participant of international photography exhibitions and photography awards. Together with other photographers her works were published in “100 Contemporary Ukrainian Photographers” book.
