When our son was 2 years old, we embarked on our first family adventure to Iceland. He's a curious toddler who loves exploring on foot. While tackling the challenging hiking trails in Iceland's mountains, we often had to carry him in a backpack for his safety, much to his frustration, as he was determined to walk on his own. One of the most memorable experiences was our visit to a volcano trail in Iceland. Amidst the absence of vegetation and the dark, barren rocks, it felt like we had landed on the moon. The eerie solitude and the lack of crowds made it a truly surreal and unique adventure.
