After a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Lugang Dragon Boat Race finally resumed in 2023. The event's highlight was the nighttime dragon boat race, where the water surface reflected the colorful dragon boat lights and riverside decorations, creating a glittering spectacle. The stands were packed with spectators, crowding this small town to capacity. In this photo, one dragon boat rowers paddled with all their might, fearing the boat behind them might overtake them.
Currently live in Taipei, Taiwan. Have lived in the US for about 25 years in the past.
